A Lavender Morning at Robercrest Farm Reflection
Tuesday, June 2, 2026
This morning, before the sun had risen, I stepped outside and found the moon still lingering in the sky. Above the fields, the heavens were painted in shades of lavender, pink, and soft blue—colors so gentle and beautiful they seemed almost impossible. The farm was quiet. No grand event. No dramatic display.
Just a setting moon, a growing cornfield, and the stillness of a new day waiting to unfold. In that peaceful moment, I was reminded that God's greatest gifts are often found in the ordinary. A sky filled with color. The cool morning air. The familiar landscape I love. The simple blessing of being present long enough to notice. As the moon slowly gave way to the coming sunrise, I thought about how faithfully God orders His creation. Night yields to day. Darkness gives way to light. And each morning arrives as a fresh invitation to begin again. There was nothing to do in that moment except stand quietly and receive the beauty. Perhaps that is one of God's sweetest lessons: not every moment is meant to be accomplished, fixed, or planned. Some moments are simply meant to be noticed. And on this lavender morning at Robercrest Farm, I felt surrounded by His presence—in the moon above, the fields below, and the peaceful silence in between.
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands." — Psalm 19:1
Quiet Open Field at Robercrest Farm Reflection
Saturday, April 25, 2026
In the quiet of this open wheat field, beneath the wide and gentle sky,
we are reminded how vast God’s love truly is. The soft clouds drift without hurry, the field stretches without end, and in its stillness, it whispers peace to the soul. The wheat sways softly in the breeze, like a quiet hymn of gratitude rising from the earth, a reminder that all of creation moves gently in Your care.
Here, in this simple beauty, we are invited to slow down, to breathe, and to rest in the presence of the One who created it all. Lord, in moments like these, help us to see Your hand in every horizon and to feel Your peace in the beautiful stillness of Your creation.
Heaven touches Earth at Robercrest Farm Reflection
Sunday, March 15, 2026
The evening sky feels like a doorway between heaven and earth. The sun slips gently through the clouds, sending soft rays across the winter wheat fields as if God Himself is blessing the land. At the farm, creation is always speaking. The sky proclaims God's glory, the fields whisper His peace, and the light reminds us that His presence is never far away. For a moment, time slows. The worries of the world fade into the quiet beauty of this place. And in the golden light over the fields, it truly feels as though Heaven reaches down and gently touches the earth.
